Michelle Bowdich, Director of Outreach & Communications
Ms. Bowdich serves as the Director of Outreach & Communications for LCF Research/New Mexico Health Information Collaborative—Statewide Health Information Exchange. She leads strategic outreach, engagement, and onboarding activities for multiple stakeholders throughout the state, including managed care organizations, hospitals, physician practices, and others to improve quality, reduce costs and expand access to health care. Ms. Bowdich earned a BBA degree from Robert O. Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, and has over 25 years of diverse marketing, outreach, and healthcare management experience in both California and NM.
Gene Hill, BBA, MA, Data Manager / Reporting Analyst, LCF Research / NMHIC
Gene Hill is an IT professional with extensive experience in and around data warehouse/reporting systems development, support and training. Gene holds BBA and MA degrees from the University of New Mexico and has acquired nearly 20 years of experience as a database developer and reporting/business intelligence analyst. In addition to his efforts for NMHIC’s HIE, Gene's activities include development of systems for public health reporting as contracted with the New Mexico Department of Health. Prior to NMHIC, Gene's background included positions in government, financial service and media companies in Santa Fe, New York City and Madrid, Spain
Mark Butler, IT Director
Mark Butler is the Director of Information Technology for NMHIC/LCF Research. Mr. Butler has been in healthcare and healthcare IT management for over 39 years. He spent 27 years at a New Mexico regional reference laboratory with 16 of those years as IT Manager/Director. Mr. Butler joined NMHIC/LCF Research in 2008 and brings a strong background in IT management, project management, and a strong focus in meeting the needs of the customer.
April Salisbury, MBA-HC, Director of Education and Training
Mrs. Salisbury joined the IT team in 2012 to assist with NMHIC HIE user acceptance testing, data validation, and end user support. With over 20 years of experience in the field of continuing professional education, she is responsible for training and education, including event management. Prior to joining LCF in 2001, Mrs. Salisbury coordinated in-house and external continuing education events at Lovelace Health Systems. She earned a BA degree in Organizational Psychology from the College of Santa Fe and an MBA in Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix.
Kelly Wilson is the Information Security Manager for NMHIC/LCF Research. Mr. Wilson has been in Healthcare I.T. for over 20 years with a prime focus on Information Security and HIPAA compliance. His expertise is in ensuring the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of sensitive data utilizing his many years of technical systems administration, integration, data networking, operations, and management experience.
